Elaina Jean Schwennsen

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Elaina Jean Schwennsen left to attend Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and earned her degree in Photography in 2010.

Though versed in both digital and analogue photography, she is passionate about film and often experiments with long or multiple exposures and has a continuing interest in self portraits. Inspired by fashion and nature, the textures and tones in Elaina's photographs have an allure of simplistic beauty.

Elaina's work has been shown in such establishments as Webster Hall in NYC, The Paper Box in Brooklyn, In Arts Northwest in Seattle and most recently seen in the album artwork for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's album This Unruly mess I've Made.

Elaina currently lives in Seattle with her beloved dog (and favorite model) Sgt. Scraps.
